Data Deletion Policy

Effective date: 16 April 2026

Last updated: 16 April 2026

Your right to deletion

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”) under Article 17. Additionally, Google’s API Services User Data Policy requires that we provide you with clear instructions for requesting deletion of data obtained through Google APIs

You may request deletion of your data at any time. You do not need to provide a reason.

What data ClickBridge holds

Before requesting deletion, it is helpful to understand the categories of data associated with your account:

Account data — Your name, email address, and authentication credentials used to sign in to ClickBridge.

Integration credentials — OAuth tokens and refresh tokens for your connected ClickUp and Google accounts.

Sync configuration data — Your sync settings, field mappings, rollup definitions, scheduling preferences, and workspace/spreadsheet selections.

Temporarily cached ClickUp data — ClickBridge may temporarily cache data from your ClickUp workspace (task data, time tracking entries, custom field values, workspace metadata) in order to perform sync operations, run scheduled jobs, and calculate rollups. This data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant operation, and in any event no longer than 24 hours.

Google Sheets data — ClickBridge accesses your Google Sheets in real time via the Google Sheets API to write synced data. We do not persistently store copies of your Google Sheets content on our systems.

Billing data — Payment transaction records, invoices, and billing history (for paid plan users).

Usage and log data — Technical logs, IP addresses, and feature usage records generated during your use of the Service.

How to request data deletion

You have several options for requesting the deletion of your data

Option 1: Delete your account through the Service. Navigate to your account settings within ClickBridge and select the account deletion option. This will initiate the full deletion process described below.

Option 2: Contact us by email. Send a deletion request to privacy@click-bridge.com from the email address associated with your ClickBridge account. Please include “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

Option 3: Disconnect individual integrations. If you wish to revoke ClickBridge’s access to a specific integration without deleting your entire account, you can:

• Disconnect ClickUp: Go to your ClickBridge account settings and remove the ClickUp connection. This will immediately revoke the ClickUp OAuth token and delete all cached ClickUp data and associated sync configurations.

• Disconnect Google: Go to your ClickBridge account settings and remove the Google connection. This will immediately revoke the Google OAuth token. You can also revoke ClickBridge’s access directly through your Google Account permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

• Disconnect via third-party platforms: You may also revoke access from within ClickUp’s integration settings or Google’s account permissions page. ClickBridge will detect the token revocation and cease accessing your data. We will then delete the associated cached data and credentials within the timeframes described below.

What gets deleted and when

After you request deletion, no personal or customer data is retained. Some anonymized logs may be kept for a short period for operational and security purposes only. These logs do not include any data that can identify you or your account.

When you request full account deletion, the following actions are taken:

Exceptions to deletion

In certain limited circumstances, we may be unable to delete specific data:

Legal and regulatory obligations. French commercial and tax law (Code de commerce, Article L123-22) requires us to retain billing and invoicing records for 10 years from the date of the transaction. We will retain the minimum data necessary to satisfy this obligation.

Personal identifiers will be minimised or pseudonymised where possible within these records.

Ongoing disputes or legal claims. If there is a pending dispute, investigation, or legal claim involving your account, we may retain relevant data until the matter is resolved. We will inform you if this exception applies.

Aggregated and anonymised data. Data that has been fully anonymised such that it can no longer identify you is no longer personal data under GDPR and may be retained for analytics and service improvement purposes.

Prior third-party deliveries. Data that ClickBridge has already written to your Google Sheets at your direction remains in your Google Sheets. ClickBridge does not have the ability to delete data from your Google Sheets after it has been written; you control that data directly within Google Sheets. Similarly, ClickBridge does not modify or delete data in your ClickUp workspace

Disconnecting integrations without deleting your account

Disconnecting ClickUp: Remove the ClickUp connection from your ClickBridge settings. This immediately revokes the OAuth token, stops all active and scheduled syncs, and triggers deletion of cached ClickUp data within 7 days. Your ClickBridge account, Google Sheets connection, and other settings remain intact.

Disconnecting Google Sheets: Remove the Google connection from your ClickBridge settings, or revoke access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. The OAuth token is immediately revoked. ClickBridge will no longer be able to read from or write to your Google Sheets. Your ClickBridge account and ClickUp connection remain intact, though syncs that require Google Sheets will be paused.

In both cases, you can reconnect the integration at any time by re-authorising access through OAuth.

What happens to data already synced to Google Sheets

ClickBridge acts as a conduit that writes data from ClickUp into your Google Sheets. Once data has been written to your Google Sheets, it is under your control within Google’s ecosystem. Deleting your ClickBridge account or disconnecting integrations does not delete data that has already been written to your Google Sheets. To remove that data, you must delete it directly within Google Sheets.

Our processing of deletion requests

In certain limited circumstances, we may be unable to delete specific data:

Acknowledgement. We will acknowledge receipt of your deletion request within 3 business days.

Verification. For security purposes, we may verify your identity before processing a deletion request. This may include confirming your email address or requesting additional identifying information.

Processing time. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request. If the request is unusually complex or we receive a large number of requests, we may extend this period by a further two months. In that case, we will notify you within the first 30 days and explain the reasons for the delay.

No charge. We will not charge a fee for processing your deletion request.

If we refuse a deletion request

Under GDPR Article 17(3), we may refuse a deletion request in limited circumstances, such as where retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. If we refuse any part of your request, we will:

• Explain the reasons for the refusal in writing;

• Inform you of your right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (CNIL for EU data subjects at www.cnil.fr; ICO for UK data subjects at ico.org.uk); and

• Inform you of your right to seek a judicial remedy.

Google user data

In accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, when you request deletion or disconnect your Google account from ClickBridge:

• Your Google OAuth tokens are revoked immediately, terminating ClickBridge’s access to your Google account.

• Any data obtained through Google APIs that is stored in our systems (sync configurations referencing Google Sheets, any temporarily cached metadata) is deleted within the timeframes set out above.

• We do not retain copies of Google Sheets content. Data written to your sheets remains in your Google account under your control.

Automated deletion

Even without an explicit deletion request, ClickBridge automatically deletes certain data:

• Temporarily cached operational data is cleared after each sync operation or scheduled job cycle completes, and in any event within 24 hours.

• Expired OAuth tokens that cannot be refreshed are deleted within 7 days of expiry.

• Accounts inactive for more than 12 months may be flagged for deletion. We will notify you by email before deleting an inactive account, giving you at least 30 days to log in and retain your account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Data Deletion Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice within the Service. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when this policy was most recently revised.
